in the Good Fight
one man dreams, it is just a dream, but when we all dream together,
is the beginning of a new reality.

In this month's ezine you get to do something that most of you would otherwise never experience - you get to beat me up!
Yes, that's me on the right, waiting to go a few rounds with you, thanks to the wonderful gaming technology of our webmaster, Fighting Father Jim!
Click on the pic and I should come to life. Give me time to warm up and then the procedure is::
Click on me (nb. do not forget this step)
Press 1, 2 or 3 on your keyboard
Wait for the bell before you start punching!
I'm hoping that beating me up will prove to be a lot of fun, but what will be even more fun will be to have your own boxing game, featuring you in the gloves and your wise-guy remarks, and this is the prize that is on offer in this month's competition.
If you haven't taken the course yet, PLEASE do sign up. It won't cost you anything to do so, and it does contain everything I know about how to successfully share your passion with the world.
But you don't have to have completed the course to enter the competition. You don't even need to register for the course to be in the competition. All you need to do is to go to the contest page and grab your special competition links. Then you share those links on Twitter, Facebook and Youtube, and you get points every time you do so!
The person who has collected the most points by the end of July 2012 will be declared the winner and will become the next Fighting Fathers Virtual Boxer! We'll create a game featuring your face, your smart remarks, on a background of your choice, and it will be featured on your own website. And if you don't have a website we will create one for you and host it for you too as a part of the package.
I am really keen to share my eCourse with the world, so I'm really hoping that you'll get on board and join the fun. You'll be able to track your progress and see who is in the lead here.
Runner's-up will get their choice of free software from softwareresales.com and indeed I will ensure that everybody who makes an effort gets a prize of some sort. So please join in, have some fun, and help me share how2changetheworld.com with all those who will benefit from it.

This Month's Free 'How to' Videos
Once again we have a couple of brand new how-to videos. This month both videos are focused on online income-generation, though knowing how to use 'Google Trends' can be useful no matter what you are doing on the web. What are people talking about online? What are the latest trends? Are people asking the sort of questions that I want to respond to?
As per usual, the first video can be freely downloaded by everybody and shared around, and the other is a private video, available only to financial members of www.fighting-fathers.com.
Click on the buttons or text links above to access the videos. This will open a new window where you'll have the choice to watch the video now or download it to your computer for later viewing. Everyone should be able to access the first video. If you try access the 'members-only' video, it may ask for username and password.
I hope you find both of these helpful and would be grateful for your feedback. And remember, if you're not yet a member at www.fighting-fathers.com you can click here to sign up for a one-month free trial.
You will find that a lot of the articles that I've been recommending this last month have been ones giving an alternate perspective on Syria to the one we're hearing in the mainline media.
I'm convinced that our governments are trying to pull another con-job on us, depicting the Syrian rebels as modern-day incarnations of Robin Hood and his merry men, with Bashar al-Assad cast in the role of the Evil Prince.
Look at some of the material I've been tweeting about, such as this great article by Patrick Seale, or the radio interview with Mother Agnes Mariam of Homs, and you'll get a very different picture.
"While Peter was still speaking these words, the Holy Spirit came on all who heard the message. The circumcised believers who had come with Peter were astonished that the gift of the Holy Spirit had been poured out even on Gentiles. For they heard them speaking in tongues and praising God. Then Peter said, “Surely no one can stand in the way of their being baptized with water. They have received the Holy Spirit just as we have.” So he ordered that they be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ." (Acts 10:44-48)
This story of the Apostle Peter's encounter with a Roman Centurion and his mates is one that is rarely preached on in mainline churches.
Perhaps that's because the story is so bizarre, or perhaps it's because the mention of 'speaking in tongues' makes us think that we should leave this passage to our Pentecostal sisters and brothers? Either way, it is a shame, as I think we have here one of the most dynamic and provocative stories in the entire New Testament!
I re-discovered this passage this year. It was unlike uncovering buried treasure! I won't say too much more about the passage here but I will say that it's not primarily about speaking in tongues. It's about racism and community and love and sisterhood and a whole variety of powerful things that are worth living and dying for!
Want to hear more about my take on this passage? You'll find the written version of my sermon here or your can download the MP3 from the member site here. Alternatively, just click the play button below to listen now.
Though things don't slow down too much around here I'd like to take a moment to look back at the event that was our Box-a-thon event Fundraiser. We are still waiting to hear the official word from Guinness regarding the world record, but this event was a huge success to us in all aspects regardless. We raised significant funds for our Youth Centre and we pulled off a wonderful event that the whole community participated in
My special thanks to Denning - my ever-capable assistant - for putting together this compilation of our media coverage, together with photos and music (written and performed by him). It's a wonderful retrospective, and if you'd like show your appreciation of his work, please leave a comment or rate this video on its YouTube page.
OK Fighter, I'm finishing off this ezine at 30,000 feet (flying home from New Zealand) and we'll be beginning our descent soon, so I'd better tie things up quickly.
Denning and Narelle and myself were in New Zealand to support Fighting Father Solomon Haumono (Big Sol) in a Super Heavyweight clash at Auckland Casino. It was a spectacular venue and a spectacular fight, with Big Sol knocking down his opponent in the second round, but somehow only coming up with a draw!
I didn't get to take any pics of the action as I had more important work to do in the corner but here's an after-fight pic of the whole team here (nb. that's Denning who is dressed like James Bond).
This week coming I'm heading down to Melbourne to be in the corner for another one of our pugilistic parishioners, Fighting Father Solomon Egberime (Little Sol). He'll be defending his Australian Junior Welterweight title and I'm entirely optimistic about the result.
The other important news that I must pass on is that my close friend and colleague, Dr Keith Mascord, has released his new book this month.
Entitled "A Restless Faith", the book is one man's autobiographical journey away from fundamentalism in search of God. It's an excellent book and I highly recommend it. Whether or not you agree with Keith's conclusions, the book will certainly get you thinking.
You can hear Keith talk about his work on the book's website, through which you can also purchase a copy.
That's it for now, fighter! We're about to start our descent! Please do sign up for the contest if you haven't done so already. I look forward to seeing your name on the leader board and hopefully joining you in the virtual ring!
