TEAR Australia: Christian action with the World's poor
One of the greatest of the charitable relief organisations in my opinion. My association with TEAR goes back more than 20 years. Their overheads are low. They work hand-in-hand with local churches in developing communities. They get the job done.

World Vision Australia
World Vision aims to share and demonstrate the love and compassion that Jesus extended to all people - especially to those suffering from poverty, oppression or injustice. It's the biggest relief agency by far in this country and they do magnificent work. They have their critics, but I've seen some of their work first hand. Truly wonderful!
