Video Questions & Answers

Q. I'm not seeing any video at all!
A: You need the Quicktime Video Plugin. Click here to go to the Apple Web Site.

Q: The video is jerky. It stops and starts.
A: This is a problem with your connection. Try watching it after downloading it (and see below).

Q: I've just watched the video, but now wished I had downloaded it so that I could watch it again later. Do I have to download it all over again?
A: No. If you're on a Windows machine, the video should still be stored on your hard disk amongst your other temporary internet files. To locate the file, follow the following steps.

  1. Open Windows Explorer
  2. Click on the C: Drive folder
  3. Press the F3 button to bring up the File Find applet.
  4. Type in '*.mov' (without the quote marks) and hit 'Find Now'.
  5. You should get something like 'dave_sm.mov' or 'vs_pat_lg.mov' somewhere on your list, depending on which video you were watching.
  6. Drag and drop this file to your desktop, or wherever you want to store it.
